In its efforts to continue meeting the nutrition and social needs of underserved senior citizens across the country, Meals on Wheels oversees a variety of programs in nearly every community in the United States. Beyond its day-to-day local work, the organization oversees an annual conference focused on advancing the country’s senior care network.
Registration is currently open for the Meals on Wheels 2017 Conference, which will take place August 29-31 in Denver. The three-day event will feature daily concurrent sessions organized into learning tracks on broad topics such as nutrition, development and fundraising, communications, and financial management. The education program will also include intensive workshops, lightning learning sessions, and several keynote presentations.
Outside of the learning activities, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in networking events and explore an exhibit hall featuring products and services to support local Meals on Wheels programs.
